Tiffany is my adoring wife. We were married on March 25, 2008 in front of a big tree in a school yard in Jefferson City, Tennessee. My mom happened to be at the school at the time. She didn’t know it was happening until she saw us, and she took some time away from a class she was there teaching to take pictures.
Tiffany has multiple sclerosis. She had many years of mild symptoms after her diagnosis. She experienced some fatigue and neuropathy, but more recently her mobility has been affected. She now walks with a walker when she goes out alone or for short distance or has me push her in a wheelchair when we are together for long distances.
She’s more patient and has more empathy than me. She is a good balance for me and brings me more to that patient empathy than I naturally would be.
We enjoy watching shows and movies together, playing video games (less often these days but still sometimes), and exploring Seattle together. She is the only person I know who loves Seattle as much as I do.
We were divorced in December 2022. We have reconciled and now live together in Philadelphia.
