I let Nickie Lewis know that I could finish up her work this weekend. I told her it would likely be $200-300. She seemed fine with that.
Got some good work done on the Design Media React courseware framework project. I got the framework modularized (for the bit that is completed so far) and implemented TypeScript on that module as well.
Got an email from Carole Chinn asking if we wanted to renew our lease. I contacted Lili Glomstad and Scott Casida to get their advice. They both seem to think there isn’t much chance of the deal falling through. I decided to go ahead and inform Carole we intend to vacate after our lease is up. I also used this opportunity to send Scott the last piece of documentation he needed from me regarding our down payment.
Tiffany is really down right now. She has this incredibly pessimistic view of everything. I know her life isn’t perfect, but there is a lot about it that’s really good. She just can’t see it. She’s worried that Emily Campbell is never going to pay her share of child support. She’s probably right, and she feels like that means we’re getting nothing. I reminded her of what I was dealing with for years, getting the same custody as a deadbeat dad, doing all the transportation, and having the few rights the parenting plan gave me trampled on, going to court to try to fix it and spending all of the money I had. This is much better, and we’re getting a lot more than Emily right now – and rightfully so.
Tiffany played some Wildermyth with me today. That is a fun game, and I think it’s a really good one for us to play together. Really fun!
I did a workout today. It wasn’t really a workout. I just rode the bike. I got sweaty even though it was unstructured, so I think it was good.
I worked on the 30x500 course project. I didn’t get to tick a step off, but I did do some important setup that will help me get started in earnest tomorrow.
