I worked on 30x500 today, making some notes on the “Where do you start?” section. Not much to report yet as I’m just scratching the surface.
After Tiffany and Ambria shopped for groceries and we talked with my parents and brother and we ate, we all took a long walk to the new local comic shop for free comic book day. It was a disappointment on every front. The shop was not accessible, so Tiffany had to wait outside. The shop was very small. Even though it was small, the inventory was very sparse. The post on West Seattle Blog had said 2 free comics each, but it turned out they only offered 1 free comic or 3 if you bought something (stretching the definition of “free”). I probably won’t ever go back there. Just not for me. I’m glad we went to see it though.
We spent a lot of the rest of the day watching wrestling. I don’t expect Ambria to be around much tomorrow, so this was our weekend day to enjoy time with her.
Tiffany asked me to play a game with her, but it was right after I told Ambria we were about to watch the new wrestling show. (AEW has two weekly shows now.) I had been trying to find a time to pair with Dmitry and he came online not long after we started. I went to pair with him. I think I hurt Tiffany’s feelings, but she’s not copping to it.
I spent some time playing Everhood to round out the night. It’s an RPG in the old 16-bit Japanese RPG style with rhythm battles. It’s trippy and interesting, but I’m not sure I really like it.
