For 🏢 Design Media, I worked on building out and linking a single-item Google Data Studio report from a table containing multiple items. This was an interesting challenge, but I had working in Google Data Studio. At one point, I was nesting REPLACE calls in a calculated field about six layers deep and it brought my computer to a grinding halt.
I ended up discovering a workaround to build a URL in a calculated field in Google Data Studio.
Tiffany had a mammogram today. Her doctor still needs to review it, but it seems to have gone well. She made it there and back very quickly too.
Ambria did a live Kahoot game via Khan Academy today. She came in 600th place or so. She wasn’t too pleased with that but she had fun. She still did her career readiness course and her art course pomodoros. She’s learning to use Photoshop as she learns about lighting.
Tiffany’s birthday is tomorrow. While she was out today, we signed her card. I printed out a stand-in for her digital ticket to the Alanis Morissette concert. I hope she likes it and is surprised I got it for her. I also hope we can find a way to get there. Getting a car in the city has gotten significantly harder since we moved here. Traditional rental cars are very expensive at the moment. There are no longer any floating car shares in West Seattle. Zipcar seems to have gotten worse from every metric. I canceled them during the pandemic, so I would need to sign back up to use that option. I’m thinking of busing into the city and using the Gig floating car share that is available there. I’ll evaluate the options as we get closer.
Dmitry and I are both very into Obsidian and personal knowledgebase right now, so it has been fun to compare notes about it. We did some of that during our mastermind meeting today.
