Our sewer scope on 4407 42nd Ave SW Unit C went well. No problems to report. We have sent the repair requests to the owner. If they agree to them, we agree to waive the inspection contingency.
Tiffany found a thong in the floor of Ambria’s bathroom. She messaged me to say she was surprised I had bought it for her. I hadn’t. We asked her how she got it. Nana had bought it for her. I asked if Nana knew. Ambria claimed she did. Nana claimed she did not.
I told Ambria she would have to get rid of them. This led her to tell me I am a failure and reveal that she has wanted to be a stripper since she was 10. Not sure quite what to do with this or what to make of it. She says she’s though about it a lot and done a ton of research. When I asked what the research was, she said she read some articles. She said to do well as a stripper, you just needed to be known and build a brand. I asked about some strippers she knows. She couldn’t name one. She said it’s because they’re only known locally. I asked her to name a local one. She couldn’t do that either.
She told me all the people she knows that think I’m a bad parent. It’s the usual suspects: Fredda, McKenzie’s mother, Jacob’s mother (who apparently is hooked up to the McKenzie’s mother via the gossip umbilical cord). I told her I’m not looking for approval. I told her Fredda doesn’t even have children. I told her I don’t know anyone who has gone through what they have gone through.
Parenting is a thankless job in which you suffer to try to do what’s best for your child only to be told by then and many other people unqualified to assess your situation that you’re not suffering in exactly the right way and under exactly the right parameters. I think I’m done with it.
