In Death’s Door, you play as a bird who harvests souls. It’s an isometric action game with very simple mechanics and combat that gets crazy when lots of enemies are on the screen.
Quick Reference
- Trade souls for upgrades at the vault. This is the black-and-white hub area. Talk to the big bird guy behind the desk to trade.
- The bars on the top represent life. Refill them by planting a life seed in one of the green pots and consuming the plant. The plants seem to regrow after some time.
- The bars under the life bars are magic uses. Refill them by hitting anything. 1 hit = 1 magic use
- Use magic by holding the left trigger and holding B to charge the shot. Release to fire.
- Switch spell with the d-pad. The 4 diamonds in the top left show the spells you an select.
