I listened to a video Dmitry recorded for me about his daemon. The idea was inspired by the book His Dark Materials. He says it’s a way for him to personify his limbic brain. He explained the limbic brain as the part that tells you how to adjust your pillows when you lie down to get comfortable.
I was asked to stop on all California Community Colleges work for this period. I instead spent a bit getting the new EHS proposal demo synced up in our new demo system. I then did some thinking on how to add a second password system to our demos.
I spent a lot of my 30x500 course project time getting my old Ergodox EZ keyboard set up again. This time around, I won’t try to switch to an entirely different layout as I’m learning it. The learning curve to switch to an ortholinear layout and move some keys around is already enough. I can already tell it’s going to be a powerful tool.
