I finished the Be Legendary email campaign project. While reading The Tiny MBA later in the evening, I found a page that applied very cleanly to it. We’ll release it, track nothing, and then wonder why we didn’t get any new clients from it.
Ambria finally decided to start taking advantage of her opportunity to earn more Discord time to talk to Jacob. She has started drawing in the evenings and doing some language learning activities. She can earn 15 minutes per hour, up to 30 minutes. It has to be used the following day.
She had earned 30 minutes yesterday and wanted to devote it to playing Minecraft with Jacob. She didn’t start her timer. I did start one. After her time was up, I asked her how she was timing it. She said she had set a timer. I asked her how much time she had left. She looked and made up some time. I told her I didn’t understand since I now had her four minutes late. She said we must have started them at different times. I told her I wasn’t sure how that could be.
I grounded her. She claimed we never said grounding was for that. She pitched a ridiculous fit for a long time before finally coming clean and saying she hadn’t started the timer. She was eventually apologetic but only after being a terror for a long time.
Over the course of the whole ordeal, I got a migraine.
I did make some good progress on 30x500 though. I started making my list of watering holes. There are much better ones now than there were when I first did this, and I have a much better understanding of them.
