Counterpoint: If I use the LYT framework to organize my second brain, these categories are not mutually exclusive. I can create multiple maps of content which all link to a single note. I should definitely create project maps of content that link to any relevant notes, but I can also link to those same notes from category maps of content.
These two strategies are not mutually exclusive either. I’m currently using category-centric maps of content (which I call “topics”) and project-centric maps of content (which I call “projects”)
Invest now to make it easier for your future self. Give your future self concept or you’ll have a bunch of indecipherable notes.
