The Winston
- Doesn’t look like a place I’d like to live
- Right on a main commercial street, just down from a gas station
- Building looks run down

- Otherwise seems to be on a nice quiet tree-lined street
- Very nice building exterior
- Interior looks fairly dated, but it’s much cheaper than others in the building
Buena Vista
- Building appears to be older but has been remodeled
- Street seems to be quiet, but the glass on the front door seems to have been busted out and boarded over so maybe this is not accurate (near 1610 Belmont, so maybe that isn’t as quiet as it appears either)

- Building exterior is nice
- Seems a bit smaller than I’d like
- Laundry is in the bedroom closet which seems very convenient
- Doesn’t seem to have bike storage
- Very poor review for the management company Northwest Apartments
- While I was here writing this and researching, a man came out on his balcony and started sawing with a loud power tool of some kind

Apartment still had 10 minutes left on an open house when I arrived with extensive instructions on how to get in. I rang the person they told me to. They buzzed me in. Tried to follow the first instruction which said to go to the second door. It’s not clear what that was. I tried every door inside the very nice courtyard, but none of them opened. Ended up just leaving.
- As I said, courtyard was very nice
- Exterior of the building has wood siding that is in bad shape
- Street seems very quiet
