Louisa emailed me back and said she could help. She suggested I call her in an email on Friday. I tried calling her on Monday. I asked for her, but the rep who answered wanted to set up an account for me first.
I wasn’t comfortable with that since I’m not sure if I will go with an Independence Blue Cross plan. I told her again what I’m hoping to achieve — to evaluate all the different plans available, including my COBRA plan, and she told me that IBX could only help me with Independence Blue Cross plans. This makes sense and is what I would have guessed if Louisa hadn’t told me she could help evaluate all the plans. I don’t think this is exactly what I’m looking for right now. I’m looking for a broader evaluation of all my options. I ended the call without creating a profile.

If still vested in HSA, I can take it with me. Check into vesting schedule for the HSA. Would still be able to use the card I have since it’s an individual account. May want to roll over to an individual HSA if so to avoid fees with the employer platform.
Can use this account even if I don’t have an HSA-equivalent plan.
I can enroll again in November if I still don’t have a job and get a subsidy on healthcare premiums.
Pennie plans seem much cheaper than the plan I have available via COBRA. Matt will send me some good options either tonight or tomorrow morning.
