HOURLY RATE: $175 / HOUR - RATES ARE THE SAME WEEKDAYS / WEEKENDS.

This includes 3 movers, truck, equipment (blankets (to protect your furniture), straps, dollies), and insurance.

This also includes the disassembly and reassembly of standard bed frames, the removal of table legs, etc… We cannot disassemble any excessively complex furniture, nor can we disassemble large items like IKEA Wardrobes, that are structurally unsound and that are not designed to be moved.

We have a 2 hour minimum. Anything over 2 hours is pro-rated to the quarter hour.
TRAVEL TIME: 30 minutes (This is in addition to the 2 hour minimum and this gets our crew out to and back from your current / destination address)

TOLLS: N/A
HOURS ESTIMATE: 3-4 hrs (This includes the driving in between locations and the travel time charge.)

PAYMENT OPTIONS
There is no deposit required. Payment is due at the completion of the move. We accept the following: Cash, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). If you use a credit card there will be a 4% service fee, so please budget that into your expenses. We do NOT accept checks of any kind.
TV PREPARATION PROTOCOL
Please note that as TVs have gotten thinner and thinner, they have also become WAY more fragile and prone to damage during a move. For this reason we require that you prepare your TV in the following way:

Leave your TV plugged in until the movers arrive. As soon as they arrive, turn it on, and show them that it’s in working order, and then as they load the truck, pack your TV carefully in its TV Box.

When the TV comes off the truck during the unload, please plug it in immediately to make sure that it has not been damaged during the move.
This is the only way that we can safely move the TVs being manufactured today. Our insurance does not cover damage to TVs that have not been properly packed in boxes, nor does it cover TVs that we have not inspected prior to / following the move. Please let us know if you have any questions.

TO DO OUR JOB RESPONSIBLY: We ask that everything is boxed as best as possible prior to the move. We ask that all contents of furniture be emptied prior to the move for the structural integrity of the furniture and safety of the crew. Loose and unpacked items may add time to the job.
ELEVATOR RESTRICTIONS:
You must notify us of any elevator time restrictions prior to confirming your move with us. This will ensure that we can meet those time restrictions to the best of our ability. If we are not notified of the time restrictions prior to confirming your move we will not be held responsible for meeting the time restriction.
HEAVY ITEM FEES
Piano - $250 (spinet or upright / ground floor to ground floor only)
Treadmill- 300) (Peloton Bike - no fee, screen must be removed)
Washer/Dryer -50 per/ flr for anything above 2nd flr
Fridge - 50 per/ flr for anything above 2nd flr
Wood shop equipment-$150 per item ground floor to ground floor only
STORMS/ NATURAL DISASTERS:
In the event of a natural disaster (snow storm, hurricane, flood, etc.) that prevents us from getting to you on the day of the move you will have the option of being re-scheduled to the next available day. We will do our best to re-schedule you as soon as possible.
CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING FEE:
If you cancel your move within 24 hours of your scheduled date, you will be charged a 2 hour minimum at the same rate as your move / pack. If you need to reschedule within 48 hours, there will be a $200 non-refundable deposit that will be applied to your rescheduled date. There will be no deposit required for moves rescheduled prior to 48 hours. We appreciate a week’s notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your scheduled move / pack.
CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE:
Please check with your buildings to see if we need to provide a Certificate of Insurance or Proof of Insurance. If a Certificate of Insurance is required, we will need to know who to list as Certificate Holder, with the address if different than the building. We will also need a fax or email in order to send the Certificate of Insurance to the building. PLEASE NOTE: If a Certificate of Insurance is required, we will need the insurance information at least 72 hours prior to the move in order to get it out in time.
