Hey there. I’m working on getting together some branded items for our team at EdgeDB. Our company is distributed, but I’d love to work with a company local to me here in Seattle if possible.

I’m not quite ready for a quote — the art is still in progress — but I wanted to ask a few preliminary questions. First, I’ll share a little about our project.

We’d like to have some hoodies embroidered. We’ve chosen the hoodies we like.

It’s looking like we’ll do two batches of hoodies: the first with the Coronado and the second with the Seaside. We would like to have black hoodies with black stitching for a subtle look. (The “black” of the hoodie probably isn’t as black as the “black” thread, so I don’t think it would be completely invisible.) We may also want an embroidered slogan on the back, assuming that wouldn’t be uncomfortable when sitting with the hoodie (in which case, we might print the slogan instead).

Preliminary first batch size run:

• S- 7
• M- 16
• L- 13
• XL- 6
• XXL- 4

Now, my questions:

1. Can you embroider on the hoodies I’ve linked?
2. If yes, can you handle the process end-to-end (ordering the blank hoodies, embroidering, and shipping to the appropriate team members)? If you don’t handle the entire process, which parts will I need to handle?
3. What is the feel like of back embroidery of a few words? Will that be noticeable to the wearer when seated with the back against a chair?
4. Can you produce a single sample before we commit to the entire run so we can verify it’s what we want?

No embroidery on the back. Screen print. Will be OK on the front. We can order them if we want and drop-ship them to them. Tricky to work on expensive products. Would have to do a sample. Schedule print date. They can ship a sample, but they will have to do two set-ups. Get them artwork. Give me estimate for print price only. Do not do split ships. Will ship only a single batch.
