We’re going to be learning Git. For anyone not familiar with Git, I like to think of it as an insurance policy for your code.
First thing: Install Git-It. Link in description. Go to releases and download the latest release for your OS. Unzip the file, and put the program somewhere where you can find it. Run the program.
Unidentified developer: MacOS System Preferences > security and Privacy preferences > Near bottom above the lock: message “Cannot open because it’s from an unidentified developer” Clicked “Open anyway”
