How do you force yourself to continue doing things that are hard but you know are good for you? I just restarted the pomodoro method today, and it felt so great! I knew that when I took it up, but it does take discipline to keep it up. It’s apparently easier not to do it because that’s what I default to.

When you have a habit like this that is good for you but hard to keep up, how do you maintain it? Brushing teeth might fall into this category, but I have been very consistent with it. I think this is because it’s not too hard and it feels very costly to ignore.
