If you enter values in your advanced filters and the data sources do not refresh, fix by deleting and re-creating the filters (not the contents of the filters but the filters themselves)
Note: If you are using URL-exposed filters and have built links for them before performing this fix, you will probably need to update your URLs. View the report and add a filter to each of the filters. Check the URL to see what keys you need to use when building the URL and update the URLs accordingly.
