To Start

  1. Publish the three “plus bonus” course products on Gumroad
  2. Edit the course page in WordPress
  3. Click the “History” button at the bottom of the sidebar and switch to the “Revisions” tab
  4. Restore the page to the most recent version containing the pricing tables, with bonus features if possible
  5. Edit the buttons on each of the six pricing tables to reflect the “all variants plus bonus” product
    • All you need to do is identify the product ID segment of the button’s destination URL and update that to the “plus bonus” product’s ID of UvOms
  6. Make sure the the “Bonus” ribbons are enabled on each product and that the bonus features are in the feature lists
  7. Update the page in WordPress and test all buy buttons with a test purchase
  8. In Drip, go to “Campaigns” > “Email Series”
  9. Expand the three dot menu to the right of the most recent course launch campaign, and duplicate that campaign for the new launch
  10. Filter down only to people who have never received the first email of the prior campaigns and who have not already bought the course (filtering on the appropriate tag)
  11. Do a quick read of the text of the emails to make sure nothing needs to be updated.
    • Most everything is evergreen, but there’s one mention of how many times I ran the course last year that may need updating
  12. Activate the email series
    • The first email will send the following Monday at 7:06am

On the Second Tuesday After Midnight

The email series will start on Monday. A week from the following day at midnight Pacific, the bonuses are no longer available.

  1. Publish all three standard (no bonus) course products on Gumroad
  2. Edit the course page in WordPress
  3. Edit the buttons on each of the six pricing tables to reflect the standard (no bonus) “all variants” product
    • All you need to do is identify the product ID segment of the button’s destination URL and update that to the “all variants” product’s ID of mhixF
  4. Disable the “Bonus” ribbons and remove the bonus features from each price card
  5. Update the page in WordPress
  6. Unpublish all “plus bonus” products on Gumroad
  7. Test all buy buttons on the WP page with a test purchase
    • This should be done after unpublishing the “plus bonus” products on Gumroad to ensure none of the buy buttons are still connected to that incorrect product

On the Second Friday After Midnight

The course launch is done at this point. Time to close up shop.

  1. Edit the course page in WordPress
  2. Click the “History” button at the bottom of the sidebar and switch to the “Revisions” tab
  3. Restore to a revision with the “closed” announcement replacing the pricing cards
  4. Unpublish the products on Gumroad
