Curse of the Dead Gods is a Roguelite action dungeon crawler from an isometric perspective. The player has direct control of the character as he raids ancient tombs looking for treasure, defeating enemies, and avoiding curses, probably pursuing some sort of mcguffin, although I don’t recall what that is. (It’s very light on story.)

Curses and Corruption
Corruption and curses comprise one of the most interesting systems in the game. The player may choose at points throughout the game to trade a blood offering for items or to regain lost health.
Making a blood offering increases corruption by the amount specified by the blood offering. Getting hit by certain attacks and opening doors to subsequent floors of the dungeon also increase corruption.
Once the corruption gauge has filled, the gauge resets and the character gains a new curse. Curses changes the rules of the game, with effects like making it more difficult to get or keep your gold, forcing you to fight more frequently in darkness, or making healing impossible.
