So I heard you on the Code Newbie podcast and like what you had to say. So basically a bit about me… I’m a 23 year old biomedical engineering graduate from Ireland.I decided last June that I’d like to become a programmer, instead of pursuing biomedical engineering, both because of the flexibility and diversity.I started learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript back in July and was doing a course on Udemy (Colte Steele’s). Progress was incredibly inconsistent though and I have to admit that I’m ashamed by how little I’ve come on. I still don’t have any real projects to show for my time and I never actually got around to completely finishing the course.I’m currently doing projects on the side, but at the minute I’m far from employable. My goal was to start freelancing as a React or Angular developer and working remotely abroad in the next few months, as I had to return to my parent’s house due to covid and I need to get back to living independently. I really need to get out of “tutorial purgatory” and start getting real-world projects done ASAP!Hope you can help, and I’m curious to hear what you have to say,
