I am looking to transition careers. I am currently trying to become a software engineer. I have been learning html, css, and JavaScript. My biggest issue is depending on tutorials and solving coding problems using JavaScript. However, when I try to build projects, I feel that I don’t Know enough coding to build anything. My problem solving skills are fairly poor as well at my current level. I believe that my approach to learning to problem solve and code are not the best method.
The one problem I have is that I don’t know what kind of project I can work on at my level. As I have mention, I have only gone through very basics of JavaScript; such as, what is an array, for loop, if/else statements, etc. I have also tried solving problems on code wars, but have not begun trying to put my knowledge to use on actually building a project. I could definitely use some suggestions.
