Hi Devon,
Thank you for reaching out to me!
My current job is a mixture of marketing, inside sales, and making simple website as my employer is a pretty small company. I need to move on from this job because I am currently hired on a contract basis, and the contract is going to end soon. I have spent my spare time outside of work learning Python, HTML, CSS, JS. The backend frameworks I am most familiar with are Django and Flask. And I also reside in Seattle!
In the short term, I’d love to get better at web development, and be able to survive financially by providing web development/design service. Later down the road, I’d love to build products and very likely, would want to start a startup/business.
Please let me know if there is more you’d like to know more about, and I’d be happy to answer questions you may have. If you have any suggestion on how to make ends meet whilst I try to get better at coding, please also give me some hints on how to smooth out the process (I feel the transition of going from getting paid to no paycheck is the most challenging part).
Again, thanks for your time!
