I’m on about my 10th life-remake (I’m 59 years old)
My background is in music(symphony violinist/violist), languages(speak several), healing(massage, bodywork, yoga)
I need to find sometime that was in demand, paid well so that my partner and I could get ahead, save some money and buy a house somewhere (Not necessarily here where I live—San Francisco)
So I’ve been studying Web development on my own for about 2 years. I’m pretty good at HTML , CSS, intermediate at JS; just started learning node, express, react. Am a beginner at python. I’ve also gone to every online codeschool prep class I can find…some more than once (Fullapp academy, hackreactor, CodeSmith, Rithm School)
My problem is that I’ve never been able to put “it” together to be hirable. I’m not quite sure what I’d say to a recruiter, or what I’d put on a resume. and then there is my age…
I’ll tell you more, if you want, but there is a beginning.
