I have found your web page via Dev.to, and i’m really glad i have.
About me: i’m 30 years old, and i’m hungarian.
I have recently finished a Java course in Hungary (5 Months long). The course focused to bring us from absolute zero to a junior level, at the end we all got familiar with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
Since then i have build a simple web application for T-Mobile, using Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and PostgREST. Unfortunately, i couldn’t find any junior job yet, so in the meantime i’m applying to jobs i want to work on my own project.
I already have found my project i would like to work on, but i need some help at architecture mostly, because i can’t really decide ho to structure my project, and what technology should i use. (Java backend, or maybe Node.js), what frontend, wich database, how should i structure it… So this is what i decided to apply your session.
Thanks in advance
Told Daniel to use what he’s familiar with for the most part to avoid stalling the project. Told him he’d only need to store user accounts in the database, so NoSQL should be fine for that. He asked about tips for finding work since even junior roles say he’s too junior for them. Advised him to try freelancing. Gave some tips on how to start finding clients. He is in Budapest, Hungary and planning to move to the Netherlands soon with his fiancé.
