I also watched some of your Youtube videos recently and found it informative and enjoyable.A little about me. I live in Sydney, Australia. I got into the IT industry straight after my Bachelor of Business degree. I have worked in IT departments of banks and financial corporations for the last 25 years. Some of my experiences include programming on mainframes/midrange machines, business analysis, IT support, Unix/Linux, Java, php, and more recently Python and Javascript. During the past few years I had been steering my skills towards web development and my previous job was that of a developer in a React.js based project. Currently and for about half a year I have been working on my own real estate development project for my own investment portfolio. As this project starts to wind down and require less time I am starting to think of what I should be doing next in my career. So I was listening to the Codenewbie podcast and your story of freelancing inspired me. It reminded me of why I decided to skill up on web development a couple of years ago as I thought it can be a versatile skill to have if I ever wanted to freelance.
