- às 16h ✔️- Correct accent indicates contraction; means “ace” (like the card)
o que vs qual- qual for questions with simple answers; o que requires a bit of explanation
que (without “o”)- used in similar scenarios to “qual”

Use que with interjections
O que estás a fazer?- What are you doing?
qual- between “what” and “which”
Que roupa é essa?- What clothes are you wearing
que- can be “what kind”
Que tipo porreiro (poo-hi-rroo)!- What a nice guy!
Que porreiro da parte dele.- How nice of him! (literally “what nice of his part”)
Como vai isso?- How’s it going? (literally “how is going that”)
vai- “is going to” or “goes”
como (not in a question)- as
Batata é tão bom como esparguete.- Potatoes are as good as spaghetti
tão bom como- as good as
Eu trabalho como professor de português.- I work as a Portuguese teacher (teacher of Portuguese)
