Emily asked what she’s having tonight. Hummus and pita. Emily asked if it’s regular hummus or a flavor. Regular but it has cucumbers and tomatoes. Emily said it sounds good, and asked if it was homemade.
Emily had bubble tea and thought of Ambria. She got strawberry with golden boba. She thought it would be sweet but it was tart like yogurt.
Ambria said she had a sad thing happen on Monday related to boba. Emily asked what. Ambria told the story about dropping her boba when she got home. Ambria said it was sad. Emily said she would be sad too. Emily asked if she had to go back and buy it again or if she just didn’t have any. Ambria went back. Emily said they will think she’s thirsty. Ambria said it was a different person.
Emily said Hugh came in for Reda’s birthday. They both said to tell Ambria they love her.
Emily asked if she’s listened to the new Post Malone album. No. Emiliy said it sounds like “Juice with a Kurt Cobain influence.”
Emily asked if this is what she wore to school. Yes. Emily asked if that means it’s hot. No. Emily said it was 34 this morning. Ambria said it’s smokey outside. Emily asked if that was from the fires. Yes. Ambria said it wasn’t as bad this morning.
Emily asked what else she got at the boba place. Ambria said when. Emily said on Monday. Ambria said that was all she got for herself but she got some for other people. She said she got the Oreo ice blended the second time. Emily asked how it was. Ambria said it was too much coconut. Emily asked if it tasted like sunblock. Ambria said it was upsetting.
Emily asked what shoes she wore with her pants. Black vans.
Emily asked if she’s heard from the salon. No, Ambria emailed them Friday but still hasn’t heard back. She said she’s going to give them some more time. Ambria applied for some other jobs. Emily asked what. Ambria applied for a different job at the YMCA and Dream Dinners. Emily said that is where Summer works. Yes.
Emily asked how school has been. Good. Ambria finished glazing something in ceramics. Yesterday in baking they made snickerdoodles. Emily asked if they were made from scratch. Yes. Emily asked if she likes them. Ambria hasn’t eaten many but she likes these. Emily said she doesn’t like cinnamon much. Emily doesn’t like cinnamon rolls.
Emily went to Trader Joe’s and didn’t see the strawberry waffles. They had blueberry and multigrain. Ambria said that’s a shame.
Emily asked if she’s taking any math. No. Emily asked how her last ceramic turned out. She’s only made two things and only one has been fired. Ambria made a pinch pot and a coil pot. Emiliy asked if they’re usable. Yes. Emiliy asked what for. Ambria doesn’t’ know. She might put jewelry in them. Emily asked where she put that now. Ambria told about her jewelry tree. Emily has seen those before.
Emily went to Target today, and that’s when she got the bubble tea. She also went to Trader Joe’s. She was going to go to some half price store, but she didn’t.
Emily asked if she’s read any books. Not lately.
Emily said if she’s sent the pictures from the dance, Emily hasn’t gotten them. Ambria said she will try to do it right now. They both laughed.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda and Hugh hi and she loves them. Emily said she will. Ambria said she should go. Emily asked if they talk same time on Saturday. Yes.
