Emily asked if she’s heard about the job shadow. No, but Ambria emailed them to follow up. Emily said maybe she’ll hear back next week. Emily thinks they’re going to IKEA. She hasn’t been in a while. She said there’s always a line when she goes in. She asked if that’s the case for Ambria. The last time we went straight to the warehouse. Emily said there’s a new grocery store called HEB that Texas is wild about. She might check it out, but she doesn’t want to go if it’s crowded. She likes to go at her own speed and not be pressured. There’s a tea store that sells cold tea. She got a Georgia peach tea. It wasn’t sweet enough for her.
They are dog sitting this weekend, so they took them for an hour walk today. It was 84 degrees at 9am. She was sweating.
Emily asked how school was this week. Ambria said it was pretty good. She couldn’t think of anything special she did and couldn’t.
She’s been collecting pieces of her halloween costume. Emily asked what she has. She has the fishnets, the spray hair color, and the makeup. Emily asked if she’s wearing the shorts and shirt that Harley Quinn always wears. Yes. Emily asked if she’ll carry a bat. She ordered one and hopes it will be here in time. Ambria told her they went to target today. Emily asked what she got. Ambria found red eye shadow. Emily asked if that’s just for her or part of her costume. Emily asked if it’s a big or small Target. Ambria thinks it’s a small one. Emily had a small one across from an apartment, and they never had what she wanted.
Emily commented on her earrings and her newly painted nails. Emily asked if she went black for halloween. Yes. Ambria said she was going to get sparkles but it took too long. Emily asked why. Ambria doesn’t know, but she thinks she had to go do someone’s waxing. Emily asked if the owner still does hers. Yes. Emily asked how many other people work there. Ambria isn’t sure. Emily asked if she goes by herself on the bus. Ambria was alone this time but she walks.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Ambria said she will send the pictures soon. Emily described the outfit to her and said she will show the pictures when she can. Reda was excited to hear about it.
Emily said she will talk to her on Wednesday. Emily asked if she’s still doing her program. Yes, it ends on the 24th. Emily hopes she has a good week at school. Emily asked if she is in any clubs at school. No.
