I’m leaving Ambria responsible for executing her calls on time now. She started this one 44 minutes late. Emily did not answer when she tried to call. Ambria tried her back immediately. Emily still did not answer.

Ambria messaged Emily asking if now is a good time. Emily replied after about a minute saying it was.

Ambria called and Emily answered at about 6:49pm.

Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria just got back from the store getting some groceries. Emily asked what she’s eating. Cereal.

Emily asked if the jeans she’s wearing are “those jeans you got.” Emily said they looked good and asked if she tried them on before buying. At the main place, she couldn’t, but she did at the others. Emily asked if she’s worn the tie dye shirt yet. Ambria asked which one. Emily tried to recall what she had. Ambria corrected her and told her all the tie dye she got. Emily said she’d gotten a lot more than Emily remembered.

Emily asked if she’s playing any video games. Yes. Emily asked which ones. Guild Wars.

Emily told Ambria that she saw pictures of Emily’s grandmother at Reda’s house when her grandmother was 20, and Ambria looks a lot like her. Ambria thought that was “interesting” and “neat.”

Ambria asked if she looked at the other house while she was visiting. Ambria asked how it looks. Emily said there’s a lot of stuff in there, and it’s “really full.” She said every room has an extra piece of furniture. The ceiling in the bathroom is falling down. It’s been closed up and she said it may not be moldy but there is something going on there.

Emily went outside to feed her bird at night (because the squirrels get it during the day). She saw something in the bird feeder and found a rat in it. She said she would have “passed away” if she had gotten any closer. She went back inside and peeked at him through the blinds. She can hear them at night. She didn’t know they eat bird seed. She’s glad she didn’t just walk up and start putting feed in the feeder.

Emily said she had a white mouse growing up. She asked if Ambria knows what she named him. No. She named him Mouse. He started biting her, so she gave him to her dad. He died of “old age.”

Emily guessed Ambria didn’t have a pet mouse. No. Emily asked what pet she would have. Ambria said a bunny. Emily said they have wild bunnies in the yard. Emily asked if she’s seen the “oversized” bunnies. Ambria thinks she has. Ambria told her we have a doorbell camera. It notifies us when there’s movement. It has notified us a couple of times when a rabbit came by. Ambria thinks that’s weird because we live between the alley and the street. Emily said they have a raccoon in the sewer. Ambria told her about the tiny bunny we found next to the door when we got home. Emily wondered if it was a baby. Ambria thinks it was. Emily asked if it was a brown color.

Emily asked how school was. It was good. They started their project in ceramics. Emily asked what. Ambria said it’s a pinch pot. Emily asked what that is. Ambria described it. Emily thought it was large but thinks it’s a good intro. She thinks Ambria will be making a statue soon. She said she could make George Washington or a cat. Emily said she painted a cat one time. An actual cat broke it. They joked that it was because the sculpture was so good. The same cat tore up the blinds. It was a stray. Her new cat doesn’t do that. She’s very gentle. She should have named the cat “Bunny.”

Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will. Emily said she’ll talk to her on Wednesday, and she hopes school goes well.
