Ambria tried Emily on Skype. Skype said she was offline. She retried immediately and the call rang. Emily did not answer. Ambria retried again. The call rang for a long time and then Emily answered. She said she was driving and had to pull over.
Emily asked what kind of chips she’s having. Plain tortilla chips. Emily laughed and asked if she wasn’t having salsa. No. Emily asked if she likes “cheese dip.” Yes.
Emily asked how her day was. Pretty good. Ambria told her she got bubble tea yesterday. Emily asked what kind. She tried strawberry ice blended with lychee jelly and ice cream. Emily asked how she liked it. It wasn’t what she expected based on the picture. Emily tried a drink that didn’t look like the picture. She didn’t like the “real strong coffee test.”
Emily looked up the Spot It game. She asked if the cards are circular. Yes. She asked if they have three pictures on them. Ambria said they all have a certain number of them. Emily asked if there are cards with one big picture. Ambria doesn’t think so. Ambria said maybe she’s looking at a different version. Emily asked which version she plays. Ambria thinks the standard version. Emily said she should have watched a video. Ambria said they also play a halloween one.
Emily asked if Halloween is one of her favorite holidays. Not especially.
Emily asked what she had for lunch. PB & J. Emily asked if it came from the hospital or if she made it. It came from the hospital. Emily asked what kind of jelly. Grape. Emily thinks that’s the best.
Ambria told her she hasn’t done anything new.
Emily asked her to let her know when she’s available to talk to Reda. Emily assumes it will be after 9pm Reda’s time. Ambria said she wouldn’t be able to tomorrow but might Thursday at 9pm Reda’s time. Emily said that’s OK. Emily said “who knows” what they would get into.
Emily told a story about what happened the last time they visited. She sat Reda in a chair and was scooting her to the table. The leg of the chair broke and Reda slowly slid to the floor. Emily tried to catch her by the neck before deciding that was a bad idea. Emily asked if she was OK. She said she was fine but embarrassed. Emily said it took a second for her to recognize the chair had broken. She grabbed the first thing she could which was Reda’s neck.
Ambria said she doesn’t have anything new to say. Emily asked if everything is “going good” for her. Yes. Emily noticed her hoop earrings and said Reda would want to see them.
Ambria thought for a bit longer and said “nope” meaning she doesn’t have anything to say. Emily said she thinks she must be “feeling good” because she was laughing a lot.
Emily reminded her of a time she went up a slide and wouldn’t come down. Ambria didn’t remember. Ambria reminder her of a time she climbed a worm and got stuck. She said Emily came up after her and got stuck too. Emily said she didn’t remember that part.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will. Ambria said she’ll talk on Thursday. Emily said to let her know if she needs to change it.
