Emily asked what she’s doing. She just got back from Northwest Art and Frame. Emily asked what that is. Ambria told her it’s an art and gift shop.
Emily asked if that’s slime that Ambria is showing. It’s Aaron’s Thinking Putty. Emily said she has some. Ambria showed her what she got. Emily told her she got some a few years ago. Emily asked if she likes the kind with the stuff inside. It’s the first time she has had one. Emily asked if she does it for fidgeting. Yes. Ambria got new ones to take with her to the hospital because the people there like them too. Emily asked if that’s where she learned about it. No, Ambria had some before that. Ambria showed the other varieties. Emily said she had a “liquid glass” one that she thought would be clear, but it was cloudy.
Ambria showed her new sketchbook and her stickers.
Emily asked if she had more boba tea. Ambria told her it’s a chai.
Emily said she is going to see Reda on Wednesday. Emily said Ambria could talk to her on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Ambria said it would be late. Emily asked if it would be 9pm. Yes. Emily said that should be OK. Emily said she makes her wear a mask, but Reda doesn’t wear it properly. Emily takes her to stores. She goes down every aisle, but she only looks to the right. Emily said it takes a very long time. Emily said she leaves her for a second occasionally and Reda moves around. Emily said she never looks to her left. Emily said it’s an “experience” to take her shopping.
Ambria reminded her of a time they went to Target when Emily told them to stay. Reda left, and Ambria told her they were supposed to stay.
Emily said you have to push her exactly the right speed. She has to drive slowly to keep from making her carsick.
Emily asked if she can take a screenshot of her on the call or if Ambria would prefer to take a photo and send it. Ambria said it would look better if she took one and send it to her.
Emily asked if she made the bracelets she’s wearing. Ambria said a friend made them. Emily asked if they’re friendship bracelets. Ambria said they’re the loom bands.
Emily said she got her hair trims. Ambria asked if she didn’t get the bangs. She didn’t. Emily joked about it. Ambria said she made hers so she could hide them when she first got them.
Emily said Ambria’s hair looks really pink. Ambria said it’s a little pink.
Emily asked if everything’s been “going good.” Yes.
Ambria asked if she looked into Spot It. Emily forgot to. She asked if it’s “an actual game.” Yes. Ambria said they’re obsessed with it. Emily said that’s OK and asked if she’s still winning. Ambria said one of the therapists always wins. Emily said some people are just good at “stuff like that.” Ambria said you get better the more you play Spot It.
Emily asked if she will play any card games tonight. Ambria played some last night so probably not tonight.
Emily asked what time she goes to bed. She goes at 9:30 to get up at 6:30. Emily asked if she takes the bus to get there. Yes. Emily asked if it’s a long ride. It’s long relative to most of our rides, but it’s not all that long.
Emily said she will update her on “the Bee situation.”
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily recounted all the things she’d gotten at the “art place.” Emily asked if she will get more tomorrow night. Ambria doesnt think so. She might get more stickers on Amazon. Emily asked if she can have a backpack at school. Yes. Emily asked if it has to be clear. No.
Emily said she looks nice today. She’s not used to seeing more than her head. Ambria smiled. Emily is glad that she’s “doing good.” Emily said she has a chain on today and that Reda will comment on her chains. Emily said she’ll tell her she’s pretty and grown up.
Emily said she will talk to her Tuesday at 8pm her time.
