Emily asked what she’s doing and asked if she’s having a sandwich. Yes. She asked what was on it. Ambria told her. Emily said it looks good and said she just had a sandwich. She had a plant-based ruben which was very good and a pasta salad with basil pesto. She said the potato salad was fancy and had mashed potatoes too. Emily asked if she likes mayo on sandwiches. Yes. Emily does too.
Emily said her nails are looking good. She said Reda got hers done yesterday.
Ambria said she’s trying to think if she did anything. Emily asked what kind. Ambria told her honey milk. Emily asked if she got a snack with it. No. Emily asked why she doesn’t. Ambria doesn’t think they have them.
Emily said she notices Ambria has earrings in. Yes. Emily told her they looked pretty.
Ambria said she hadn’t done much else. Ambria told her she got coloring sheets printed out.
Emily said she watched Ambria’s nails and they look super long. Then, Emily said she got mustard on them. Ambria said they’re pretty long. She said she got them shorter originally, but they grew out and she liked the length.
Emily said she’s at a walking trail and it’s still hot. Emily heard thunder.
Ambria searched for something to talk about. There was silence for several seconds.
Emily asked how Ambria’s “stuff” went today. Good. Ambria said she made a poster for the group room. Emily asked if she wanted to or if they asked her to. Ambria volunteered. Emily asked what she had for lunch. Chicken tenders. Emily asked how they were. They were dry and the breading wasn’t good. Emily said she hopes tomorrow will be better. Ambria told her they’ve had really good bean burritos two different days.
Emily said it feels like it’s going to rain but she doesn’t think it will. Ambria told her it rained here for the first time in a while. Emily asked if she saved a cup of it for her. Ambria just giggled.
Emily said she still hasn’t cut her bangs yet, but she’s thinking about it. Emily said she’s not brave like Ambria to do it herself. Ambria doesn’t remember how she did. Emily doesn’t know how she wants them. Ambria said she thinks Emily should get thin straight bangs. Emily asked if she should get them like hers. Yes. Emily said OK.
Emily asked if she’s been feeling pretty good. Yes. Emily asked if she’s played videogames. No.
Emily asked how the card games went on Saturday. Good. Emily asked if she won. Ambria doesn’t remember. Ambria asked if Emily knows the game Spot It. No. Ambria described it. Emily said you’d have to be really quick at spotting. Yes. Emily asked if you can buy it. Yes. Emily asked how many players. Between 2 and how many you can get to the table. Emily asked if Reda would like it. Ambria thinks it will be too fast, but Ambria likes it. Emily will look into it. She asked if Ambria can beat her. Ambria said she’d been practicing.
Emily said she’s glad Ambria’s having fun “at the place.”
Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily will.
Ambria said she should go. Emily asked if they’re talking on Saturday. Yes. Emily said school starts there tomorrow. Ambria said hers starts on a Wednesday. They discussed which day they will talk again.
