Ambria tried Emily at their newly arranged call time. Emily was not connected on Skype. Ambria immediately tried again, and she still wasn’t connected.
Ambria tried Emily via phone. Emily answered the phone but did not say anything. Ambria said hello.
Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria got some bubble tea. Emily asked what kind. Ambria told her she got honey milk tea.
Emily asked why Ambria didn’t call on Skype. Ambria told her she did. Emily said she didn’t know what happened because she thought she was connected. They arranged to restart on Skype.
They finally got connected at 6:01pm. Emily said she has all the animals with her and showed them on camera.
Emily showed Ambria her basil plant.
Emily asked what all she’s been doing. Ambria told her she spends 7 hours a day at PHP. Emily asked how it’s going. Ambria likes it a lot. Emily asked what she does there. Ambria told her their schedule. Emily said she has a very full day. Emily asked which classes she learns the most in. Ambria said DBT and ACT. Emily asked why she feels that way. She said some of the other groups are more focused on art instead of teaching them stuff. The morning group and sometimes the group at the end of the day teaches “actual content.”
Emily said it sounds like she’s learning a lot and is glad she likes it. She asked if Ambria is still taking Adderall and still likes it. Yes. She especially notices the short-term pills. Emily asked when she takes the long one. In the morning.
Emily started talking about the dog. She gave the bird to a center. She explained to Ambria why. She turned it over to a bird rescue. Emily said she was “a little sad” but she knows the bird is happier. She has birds that visit her in the birdfeeder. She has two cardinals she has named Cardi A and Cardi B.
Emily said she’s glad Ambria’s “program is doing good.” Emily asked when she has to be there. Ambria told her the start and end times. Emily asked if they go outside. Yes, they go on walks. Emily asked for details. Ambria said they walk for exercise and chat. Emily asked if she likes the people there. Yes. Ambria knows almost everyone. She said a lot of people from her residential program have moved. One of them moved today. Emily asked if there are males and females. Ambria said they have all genders.
Emily said she has a lot of chains. Ambria showed her two are connected. Emily said her hair looks pink. Ambria smiled.
Emily said “that’s about all (she) know(s).”
Ambria said she should go. Emily wished her a good “next couple of days.” Emily reiterated their call time on Saturday. They said goodbye.
