Emily asked what kind of cereal she has. Cheerios. Emily said she likes them and asked if they came from Trader Joe’s. Ambria told her they’re from Whole Foods. Emily said she hasn’t tried those. Ambria told her they were Cheerios brands. Emily said she ate a lot of those when she was a kid. Ambria said she did too. Emily recalled how Reda wouldn’t let her have sweet cereals. Ambria said that sounded familiar. Emily named some of her cereals.
Emily said she is glad to see Ambria feeling better.
Emily asked what she will do now that she’s had breakfast. Ambria told her we went grocery shopping yesterday. Emily said she would have a free day. Ambria told her she will probably play games.
Emily said Bertie is having her second or third meal this morning. She said if Ambria hears crunching, it’s her.
Ambria told her she hasn’t been doing much. She’s been watching stuff, doing chores, and playing games. Emily asked what she’s been watching. Ambria told her she just finished Dangonranpa. Emily asked her to repeat. Ambria did. Emily asked if she’s been reading any books. Not really. Emily asked about chores and whether Ambria has to mow the yard. Ambria told her we don’t have a yard. Emily told about her battery powered mower and how it goes when she has to plug it in. Emily told about replacing it with a gas mower. She had to repair the engine. She said she removed the muffler, which wasn’t what she wanted to do. She was able to get it reattached by watching YouTube videos. It didn’t work after that. She had to take it to a repair person. Someone had replaced the carburetor with one that didn’t work. Emily said mowing is hard. She has a lightweight one now that she can “lift with one arm.”
Ambria told her there’s a vegan donut shop opening. Emily asked if she’s going to try that. Yes. Emily asked if she likes a lot of vegan things. Not really. Emily said they “miss the mark” a lot. She tries things and they’re OK, but she doesn’t want to get them again. She tried a restaurant in Dallas, and their food was “greasy” and didn’t have a lot of flavor. She’s stopped trying those places.
Ambria told her we got something new at Trader Joe’s. Emily asked what. Pineberries. Emily asked what they are. Ambria said they are white with a little pink. Emily asked how they are. Ambria said they’re “weird.” She said they taste tropical. Emily asked if she’s tried their mozzarella in oil. Ambria seemed confused and asked what she puts it on. Emily described some things she eats it on.
Emily said she was going to try the Just Egg competitor at Trader Joe’s because it had bad reviews. She asked if Ambria has heard of “Just Egg.” She said it’s a little container that you pour the yellows from. They also have it in a box it comes out of. She said it doesn’t taste like egg. Ambria said it was weird. Emily agreed.
Ambria asked her to say hi and she loves her to Reda. Emily said she will. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she’s glad Ambria feels better. Emily asked if anyone is coming over. No. Emily asked why not. Ambria shrugged.
