Emily asked if she’s been able to go anywhere. She tested negative on Sunday, so she has been able to leave the room. She got bubble tea on Sunday. Emily asked if she has issues with taste or smell. No.
Ambria told her she’s been playing video games and watching stuff. Emily asked what her order was at the bubble tea place. Ambria got her usual honey milk tea. Emily asked if she “didn’t get no treats?” No. Emily asked if it was good “like (she) remembered it.” Yes.
Ambria told her she hasn’t been doing much besides staying at the house. Emily said, “That’s all you can do.” Emily asked if she’s free to “do whatever she wants” now that she’s negative. Emily asked if she has plans for the summer. “Not right now.” Emily asked if Nana and Poppy have a date for a trip yet. Ambria said they haven’t rescheduled. Ambria said she saw Emily emailed but hasn’t looked at it.
Emily asked if her medicine makes her feel better. Yes. Emily asked again what the name of the first one is. Duloxetine. Emily said, “You know how I forget things.”
Ambria said she talked to her psychiatrist again today. Emily asked if it was good. Yes. Emily asked if they do virtual visits. They do visits on Zoom. Emily said “everything has converted to Zoom now.” She noted that it’s “handy for a lot of people” even without regard to Covid.
Ambria told her she got pizza a couple of days ago. Emily asked what kind. Pepperoni with garlic bread. Emily asked if she had a whole pizza to herself. She shared it. Emily said some garlic bread is good but some is “like a hot dog bun.” Ambria said Domino’s is good. Emily said it’s been a while since she been there. Emily said she likes Marco’s and one downtown that has wood-fired crust. Emily asked what kind of crust she likes. Ambria likes thick crust. Ambria told her there’s a place here that makes giant pizzas with giant slices. Emily had a pizza from a place that said they import their water from New York City. She said they have very thin crust. Her cheese slid off. She said it was good. She got plain cheese. She said it had good flavor but she didn’t like the crust.
Ambria told her there’s a “kind of famous” pizza place near here. Ambria told her they have weird pizza and the reservations are months out. Emily asked if they have weird combinations. Ambria told her we somehow got takeout there. We got a clam chowder pizza and another she can’t remember. Emily got a pizza from a place that starts with a “z” and it had corn on it. The flavor got old after a while.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she is good and said she hadn’t seen Elvis. She said Hugh is going to be there sometime soon. She thinks Reda will go home and prowl around.
Emily asked her to think of some things she would want to do together. Ambria said they should go to the beach. She said there are a bunch of places she can show Emily. Ambria knows how to get everywhere on the bus. Emily said that is good and that she’s had a lot of practice at it. Emily asked if the beach looks like Florida beaches. Ambria said it has a lot of rocks. She said some of the beaches are all rocks, but Alki beach also has sand. Emily asked if it’s “fluffy” or “grittish.” Ambria said some is fluffy.
Emily has new birds feeding from her feeder. She told about how a squirrel had outsmarted her.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would since Hugh would be up there. Ambria said she should go. Emily said she is glad she feels better and is getting to go places. She said she
