Emily wished her good morning. Ambria reciprocated. Emily asked how she’s feeling. Pretty much fine. Emily asked what she’s been doing. Just lying in bed. Emily is glad she feels better. Ambria told her you’re supposed to quarantine 5 days after your fever, but that she is still testing positive on her test. Emily said it stays positive and you may not be “infectious.”

Emily asked if anyone else has gotten it. Ambria told her Tiffany got it. Emily asked if she feels OK. Ambria doesn’t think she’s as bad as Ambria was. She thinks Tiffany is OK now. Emily said she hates everybody got it but is glad everyone is feeling better.

Ambria couldn’t think of anything to say. She said she has been playing the Switch. Emily asked which games. Splatoon, Picross, and the Mario game she got a while back. Emily asked if she’s been reading. Yes, she’s reading a book. Emily asked if it’s the one she was telling her about. No, she hasn’t read that one yet.

Ambria told her it’s supposed to get to 80 today. Emily asked if she’s going outside. Ambria will probably stay in her room. Emily asked if she leaves to eat or if “they” bring you stuff. Ambria said we bring her stuff.

Emily asked if they can talk for a bit about what she told her last week. Ambria said “Sure.” Emily asked if the suicide attempt is connected to her looking for a psychiatrist. Ambria said no, but she did get a new psychiatrist. Emily asked what started everything or what happened. Ambria said that stuff happens when she gets really upset, which is a thing she needs to work on. Emily asked whether she gets mad or sad. Ambria said she gets mad. Emily asked why she was talking to the police. Ambria told her I called the police when she threatened to kill herself. Emily asked if she then went to the hospital because she chose to or because they suggested it. Ambria said they suggested it. Emily asked if she just talked to people. Yes.

Emily asked what the psychiatrist said she needs to do. Ambria told her she is keeping her on the medicine she’s taking. Ambria listed them. Emily said she has heard of all of them. Emily asked if that combination is to keep her calm. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if it’s anxiety. That’s part of it. Emily asked if she gets explosive when she gets angry. ”Kind of.”

Ambria told her the psychiatrist asks about family history of mental illness. Ambria asked if anyone on Emily’s side has had bipolar. Emily said no one she knows of. Emily asked if she thinks she’s bipolar. The psychiatrist told Ambria that would make sense. Emily asked if she goes from being happy to being sad. Ambria shook her head.

Emily asked why she tried to run away. Ambria said she would like the idea of living on her own, but she knows she can’t right now. Emily asked if she thinks that would help her “filter and sort through her emotions.

Emily thanked her for sharing and hopes she gets “situated.” Emily asked when she first started feeling this way. Ambria said it was a long time ago and that it got bad when she couldn’t go to school. Emily said that makes sense and is very common.

Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will.

Emily asked if Ambria wants Emily to come see her. Ambria said we need all the details. Emily asked again two different ways, and Ambria said she would like to see her. Emily asked her when would be a good time. Ambria told her I had sent her an email. Emily said she hadn’t replied to it.

Emily hopes she’s feeling better and asked if she had breathing issues. No. Emily said to tell her if she needs her.
