Emily asked how she’s doing. She’s good. Emily asked if she took her shower. Yes. Emily asked if she’s had breakfast. Not yet.
Emily asked how school went. It was good. They had “a bunch of tests.” Emily asked if she said goodbye to friends. Ambria said she will talk to them in summer. Emily said she guessed many didn’t show. They did. Emily asked if they have a full day. They were out an hour early.
Emily asked if she has anything like summer school planned. No.
Emily asked if Ambria got her email. They talked to understand which one. Ambria said she did. Emily said she wanted to offer to come see her since Ambria has been worried about Covid. Ambria said she’s thinking about it.
Emily asked what else she’s been doing. Playing video games. She’s going grocery shopping today. Emily asked if she will get anything special. Not that she knows of. Emily told what she got yesterday at Trader Joe’s. Emily told about a dish she makes with basil and mozzarella. Ambria told her we make something like that too except without bread.
Ambria asked if she’s tried “the little frozen baguettes.” Emily hasn’t and asked if they are good. Ambria says they’re good snacks. Emily said (something unintelligible) is really good. Emily tried a frozen meal. She said it wasn’t bad or good.
Emily asked if she has plans for this week or weekend. No, just grocery shopping. Emily asked if anyone was coming over. No. Ambria will probably play videogames. She said Nana and Poppy will be here on Tuesday. Emily asked if we have plans with them. We are planning to see a play and take them to Lincoln Park. Emily asked if they’re here for a week. Yes. Emily said that would give plenty of time to visit with them.
Ambria asked how Reda is. She’s “doing good.” Emily said she got her nails painted with a design on one of them. No Elvis visits. Ambria said that’s a shame and Emily said it was very sad. Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would.
Emily asked if she’s feeling any better than she was. Yes.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily thanked her for calling and talking to her. Emily offered to change their call time if Ambria doesn’t want to get up early on Saturday now that she’s out of school on time.
