Emily said she heard Ambria’s “belly growl.”
Emily asked if she’s heard the new Halsey song. No. Emily said it’s called “So Good” and was released Thursday. Emily asked if she listens to BTS. Some. Emily told her about a BTS song.
Emily asked if they tell us to have all our containers rinsed out very well. Yes. Emily asked if we have to use soap and water. Ambria only uses soap if something is stuck. Emily said she wonders how that works at the public recycling bins at parks. She said she spends a lot of time on hers. Emily asked if we have a big bin to put them in. Yes. Emily asked if they get picked up. Yes. Emily asked if we’ve had a big container. Ambria said each townhouse has its own recycling.
Emily said she got new bird feeders and bird seed. She got one with a swing. She’s hoping to get some new birds. She said birds like spicy food and squirrels don’t. Ambria told her she saw a bunny near our house a few days ago. Emily said the lizards are back. She thinks they are geckos. She said they look at her then run and hide.
Emily got mint planted.
Ambria told her it rained hard (for here) recently. Emily asked if she checked the herbs and flowers. Ambria laughed. Emily said she hopes they’re still here. Ambria doesn’t think it was hard enough to wash them away.
Emily asked what tests she’s studying for. Ambria has a two-day history final. Emily said one day is enough. Ambria has a science final and a unit test in science. Emily asked when. Ambria told her history is Monday and Tuesday. She doesn’t know when the science tests are. Emily asked if history is open-book. They can have a half sheet of notes. Emily asked if she has to write “real small.” Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she uses a magnifier. No. Emily asked about biopic glasses. Ambria doesn’t seem to know about them. Ambria said it was “interesting.”
Emily said she’s thinking about getting bangs. Ambria said that would be fun. Emily asked how she styles hers. Ambria showed her and Emily laughed. Emily is trying to figure out the length. Emily asked if she used a picture to show the length she wanted. No. Emily asked if she just went for it. Yes.
Emily asked if she’s ever scratched her eye with her long nails. No. Emily asked if it’s hard to pick things up sometimes. Not really. Emily asked how she picks up a can. Normally.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily wished her a good weekend studying and said she could listen to music. Emily noted how little school was left. Emily asked if they’d had yearbook day. They don’t have that. Emily asked if she’s gotten her yearbook. Yes. Emily asked how many times she’s in it. Ambria doesn’t know.
