Emily answered quickly but did not say anything for a while. She asked what Ambria is doing. She just got out of the shower. Emily asked if she has any friends coming over. Not that she knows of. Emily said she was hoping Ambria would.
Emily said she is getting dents repaired on her car from the hail storm. She’s driving a Ford rental car made for the German market. She said it’s an SUV.
She said she had a breakfast burrito. She told the ingredients. Her voice is cutting out frequently. She appears to be in a car right now. She told about the mango green tea she got with no sugar.
Ambria told her she had three tests on Friday. Emily said, “Don’t tell me one is in math.” One was in math. Emily asked how it went. Ambria said the teacher didn’t teach then the first side of the test but the back side was OK. Emily asked if they asked the teacher. She was out and had a substitute. Emily said she wouldn’t have been able to answer their questions because she didn’t teach it. Emily asked how she did on the second page. Ambria thinks she did well. Emily said she probably did.
Emily asked about the other tests. Vocab in French and unit test in History. Emily asked what “kind of theme” they were studying in French. Ambria forgets. The article this week was about breakdancing. Emily asked if they had to do moves for class. No, they just watched videos of it. Emily asked if that’s big in France. Ambria doesn’t think so.
Ambria told her they have a science test. Emily asked if it’s over “photons and neutrons.” It’s about balancing chemical equations. Emily asked if she’s good at it. She’s not bad. It’s “kinda like a puzzle.” Emily said she doesn’t like puzzles.
Ambria told her they’re going grocery shopping today, and she has two posters to work on. Emily asked what they’re about. One is on a micro-nutrient. Ambria picked vitamin D. For the other, they pick a group of people and explain how WW2 affected them. Emily asked who she picked. Ambria hasn’t yet. Emily asked what class the micronutrient one is for. Independent living. Ambria said she thinks they got that assignment because the teacher will be out for a while, but they were learning about nutrition.
Ambria said her Hello Kitty stickers came. Emily asked where her Hello Kitty attire is. Ambria has it but isn’t wearing it. Emily asked what the other name is for Hello Kitty. Ambria said she calls hers “Kitty.” Emily asked if she ordered the stickers in the mail. Amazon. Emily asked if she’s putting them on school stuff. Ambria hasn’t decided.
Emily asked if she’s playing video games. She played Sims yesterday. Emily asked what she and Galaxy played. They played Splatoon. Emily asked if she likes it. She had never played. Emily asked how she was. She wasn’t bad but wasn’t good. Ambria said she kept looking at the ground. Emily asked if she’s coming back sometime. Ambria hopes so. Emily asked what car she drives. A mint Prius.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s OK. No art classes or Elvis visits but they might have an event soon. Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would and would also tell her about her math test and her posters. Reda says she knows Ambria will “do good in math because (she’s) smart.”
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily wished her a good weekend and hopes her posters aren’t too hard. Emily said she will talk to her on Wednesday. Emily said she had seven weeks left. Ambria corrected that she has 8.
