Emily asked how she is. She’s good. Emily said she’s outside because it’s warm today. Ambria told her it was nice here yesterday. She said it was in the 50s and sunny. Emily asked if she sat out on the roof. Ambria told her we went up there because something we ordered doesn’t work.
Emil asked what she’s snacking on. Peanut butter pretzels. Emily asked if they’re the ones from Trader Joe’s. Yes.
Emily asked what kind of earring she has. It’s a lock. Emily asked if the other one matches it. The other one is a key. Emily said that’s cute.
Emily asked how school has been going. It’s good. They’re having tests on Friday. Emily said, “Already?” Emily said “Don’t tell me it’s in pre-calculus class.” Ambria doesn’t think they have one in that class. They have science, history, and mock interviews in independent living. Emily asked how that’s going to go. Ambria isn’t worried. Emily said she’ll have good practice that way and will be confident in interviews. Ambria agreed.
Emily said the crows have been eating cake. She said her birdbath had a crack. She fixed it. She said they put their bread in the water before they eat it. She said you can train them and they’re good pets. She saw one that could talk, but she doesn’t think she’ll get that far with them. Emily said they’re noisy. Ambria told her we have a lot around here. Emily asked if she will “have some pets. Emily asked if she can have a bird. Ambria said yes. Emily said she looked into one but they are “too sensitive.” They talked about Sterling, the talking bird pet they knew. Emily “forgot that (she) remembered him.” Emily said she thinks he would still be alive.
Emily asked what she should get at ShareTea. Ambria said it depends on what kind of thing you want. Ambria told her about the Oreo ice blended one that is “interesting.” She said their ice blended stuff is pretty good. She said they have “coffee stuff” but she hasn’t tried it. Emily asked if they have food. Ambria doesn’t think so. Ambria mentioned the honey tea she likes. She sometimes likes it with pudding. Emily asked if it’s boba pudding. Ambria said it’s one of the toppings. She said you can get boba and pudding. Emily asked if she’s had cheese foam. Emily said it’s not as gross as you’d think. She said it’s “frothy” and compared it to something at Starbucks. Ambria knew what she was talking about. Emily said she will see what she’s going to get. She has to go somewhere to get a salad and they have one close by. Emily said some other things that were unintelligible. Ambria told her at ShareTea you pick the sweetness and ice level. Emily asked if she goes full sweet. Ambria goes 80% or 50%. Emily asked about ice and whether she gets light ice. Yes. Emily will let her know what she’s going to get. Emily likes “trying new stuff like that.”
Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s “doing OK.” Emily said an Elvis impersonator visited. Reda said yes. She was embarrassed. They laughed about it. Ambria said she has an Elvis poster in her room. Emily asked what he’s wearing. Black leather.
Ambria said the newest thing she’s been doing is playing The Sims 4. She got the cats and dogs expansion pack. Emily didn’t know they had one. Emiliy asked if it’s pets. Ambria said it adds a lot of things, mostly the ability to have a pet. Emily asked if she has a pet. Not yet. Emily asked if that’s her go-to game now. She still plays Lost Ark.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will and that Reda said hello and she loves Ambria very much. Emily will let her know when she goes to ShareTea. She hopes Ambria’s tests go well. Emily asked when her first pre-calc test is. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily asked what she will wear for the interview. Probably just a nice pair of pants. Emily asked if she has many skirts. Ambria has 4. Emily asked if she has PE. No. Emily asked if you had to wear certain shoes on PE days. They change before. Emily said like a uniform. They have a shirt they give them and can wear whatever they want on the bottoms. They should wear tennis shoes, but it’s not required. Emily asked if she needs shoes. She doesn’t think so.
Ambria said she should go. Emily said she will talk to her Saturday and told her again she wishes her well on upcoming school stuff. She told her to have fun with her new game.
