They wished each other good morning. Emily asked if she’s having pizza. Yes. Emily said that’s always a good breakfast and asked if she likes it cold or heated. Ambria will eat it cold for a snack. Emily only likes it fresh and hot. Ambria said Domino’s is good cold. Emily asked if we have a Marco’s pizza. Ambria hasn’t seen one. Emily said it’s really good. She asked if Ambria’s had Costco pizza. No, but she’s heard of it.
Emily asked about the math final. It was divided into a paper part and an online part. The whole thing was bad. Ambria said it was a unit test but with more time to work. Ambria finished with 20 minutes to spare after 2 hours. Emily asked about the online part and why they had to do that. It was just on a math web site.
Emily asked about her classes for this semester. Independent living and chemistry. Emily was surprised it was just those. Emily asked if she had chemistry before in her sophomore year. Ambria had it as a freshman. Emily asked if she liked it. Ambria doesn’t remember.
Emily asked about independent living. They can pick what they want to do. She’s not sure what it is yet. Emily asked if everyone has to take it. No, it’s an elective. Emily asked why she chose it. She thought it would be useful. Emily asked if it was about personal finance or if it was about homemaking. Ambria doesn’t know.
Ambria brought some art to show her. Ambria showed her portfolio cover. Emily asked if portfolio was a “fancy word for a huge folder.” Ambria said it was. Ambria showed her self-portrait. Emily said, “That is you!” Emily said it “turned out good.” Ambria showed her Hello Kitty pop art. Emily asked how she decided on the colors. Ambria doesn’t know. She thinks it was arbitrary. She showed her city silhouette. This was for her monochromatic or complementary. Ambria showed some of her practice exercises as a crow cawed in the background from Emily’s side. Ambria showed the test she did for her original concept for the imitation project. Ambria showed the face parts she drew to learn to draw them. Emily asked if it was helpful. Yes. The bird continued cawing.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s “doing good.” She went to scare the bird away. She said Reda is “about the same.” They had a pasta dish Reda told her about that she said was “OK.” They’re doing an art class next month. She said it’s similar to Bob Ross. Reda hasn’t fallen any. Emily thought she might have some occasionally.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily asked if she follows any artists. Ambria watches the Bob Ross Twitch stream sometimes. Emily saw a really realistic painting this guy did recently.
Emily said she’s glad finals are over and done with and bets Ambria is too. She said she will talk to her on Wednesday.
