Ambria told Emily about the French project. Ambria wasnt excited about it at first, but Ms. Shu gave them some examples of what they could do. She asked if Emily knows The Miraculous Ms. Ladybug. No. Ambria told her it’s a French kids’ show. She and two of her friends are going to re-create a scene from the show. Emily asked which scene. They’re doing a scene with two superheroes and a villain. Ambria is the villain. Emily asked what she’s going to do that is villainous. Ambria isn’t sure. She hasn’t found the scene yet. Emily asked if they dress up or just act. Ambria is going to wear a black blanket as a cloak, carry a stick, and wear a mask. Emily asked if they have to speak French. Yes. Emily asked who is in her group. Allie and Kate.
Ambria told her she’s getting a haircut. Emily asked what she’s doing. She’s getting a trim. Emily asked if she’s keeping her bangs. Ambria will probably trim them herself. Ambria might get it a little shorter because it’s annoying. Emily asked how long it is. It’s to her lower back. Emily said getting it cut makes you feel better and it’s easier to wash.
Ambria told her she’s meeting a friend at Starbucks tomorrow for help with test corrections on a math test. They’re filming on Monday. Emily asked if that’s after school. Ambria said they don’t have class time to work on it, and they don’t have class on Monday. Emily asked if it’s going to be at our house or at the park. Ambria said she’s filming in an alley near our house. Emily asked if she’ll hop out of a trash can. Ambria will need to see what he does. Emily suggested coming out of the sewer.
Ambria said that’s all she has planned. Emily said that’s a busy weekend. She asked if Ambria is going grocery shopping. Yes. Emily is going to get cat food and litter. Emily said they had some canned tuna.
Ambria asked how Reda is. She’s doing “OK.” She started back in physical therapy. Emily said her left ankle is “a little wobbly sometimes.”
She said the wind is “so heavy.” She’s watching it blow leaves. Ambria said it was really foggy when she got up. Emily said the temperature is 36 but it feels like 24. She asked what it’s like here. Ambria said the high is 49. Emily’s is 38. Emily asked if she’s getting any more show. Ambria thinks we’re done with it for now. Emily said she’s not expecting any either. Emily doesn’t like snow because it keeps her from getting out. She never knows how long she won’t be able to get out.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will and that Reda loves her and says hello. Emily said she hopes all her plans work out. She asked if she will have the video done when Emily talks to her. Yes. Emily asked who will edit it. Ambria will. Emily asked if she has experience with that. Yes. Emily asked if she took a class. Yes, and she has done some on her own.
