They wished each other good morning. Emily asked how she feels. She just woke up. Emily asked if it’s rainy. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily said it’s cold. She put the dog out. The dog stayed two minutes and barked. Ambria told her the snow is melted. Emily said that’s good and then asked if it is.
Emily asked if the test came back negative. Yes. She asked if people have missed school. Yes. Ambria listed the people.
Emily asked if she’s still doing well in French. Yes. Emily asked if Ambria had emailed her pen pal. She meant to over the break but forgot.
Emily said she is having mostly milk with a little coffee.
Emily asked if Ambria got Reda’s Christmas card. No. Emily asked if she got the one from Reda that came through Brenda. Ambria got one from Brenda. Emily asked if it was from Brenda or Reda. Ambria thinks it is from Brenda. Emily asked if there was anything in it. No. Emily said she should get one from Reda.
Emily said this week is the dog’s birthday. She will be 7. She said some things that were inaudible. She said she would show Ambria some pet but the pet is “seething” right now. She doesn’t know why.
Emily said it has been cool. Ambria told her it warmed up over the last few days. She said it was 51 on Wednesday. Emily said that was pretty warm.
Emily asked if she went for her Covid test somewhere near where we live. Yes, at her middle school. Emily asked if she’s worn all her Christmas clothes to school. Not yet. Emily asked if they all fit. Yes.
Emily asked what her final project was in art class. They are emulating an artist. They each pick an artist and paint something in their style. Emily asked who she picked. Ambria picked the artist of My Hero Academia. Emily said she’s picked what she’s good at. Ambria is thinking about switching it. It’s “turning out to be more stressful that (she) thought.”
Emily asked if she’s excited for photography class. Yes. Emily asked if she still has her instant camera. Yes. Emily asked if she’s out of film. She still has some left.
Ambria asked how Reda is. She’s “doing OK.” She did a painting class. Everyone paints the same picture. Emily said it looks good. Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily wished her a good Saturday. Emily asked if finals are this week or next. Ambria thinks they are the week after those two. Emily said to have fun and stay warm. She said she will talk to her on Wednesday.
