Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s “doing OK.” Emily said she’s going to see her in a couple of weeks. She said she would try to arrange for Ambria to talk to her if she wants. Ambria said she would like that.

Ambria got her Christmas cards sent out. She said everyone should be getting them soon. Ambria sent Reda one of her school pictures. Emily said she would like that and asked if it’s the one on her ID. Yes. Emily said, “Good.”

Ambria wants to order a picture book like she did last year for Reda. Emily said she would really like that. She still has the one Ambria made her last year. Emily said Reda says, “Ambria looks so pretty.” Emily agrees.

Emily asked if she’s found any deals on any of the stores she likes. Ambria hasn’t looked. Emily hasn’t either. Ambria had forgotten about Black Friday. Emily said some stores have already started their sales.

Ambria goes back to school Monday. Emily asked if she has homework. Not much. Ambria thinks she can finish it tonight. Monday they are finishing their second big writing in French. Emily asked what it’s about. This one is about identity. They picked two important parts of their identity. Emily asked what she picked. Ambria picked her family and the region’s they’ve lived in. Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will remind Ambria about her visit so they can talk. Ambria said she should go. Emily wished her a good Thanksgiving and told her to have a good time on her days off.
