Emily asked what she’s doing. She got home from school a little while ago. Emily turned on her camera. She said she’s in Frisco and she got some bean soup and a sweet potato latte. She said it was really good. She said it tasted like sweet potato casserole. Ambria said that was interesting.

Emily asked if she’s been getting other “stuff” from her. Ambria’s gotten ebay packages. Emily asked if she’s opened them. Yes. Emily said that’s good. Emily asked if she will delete what she’s already gotten from her wish list. Ambria will.

Emily asked if she has a cold. Ambria said she stirred up dust packing and may be having an allergic reaction. Emily asked if her nose is runny or if she just has a sore throat. Ambria has some of both. Emily asked if she has anything to take for it. Ambria has been taking Benadryl. Emily said that should help.

Emily asked how much packing she has to do. Ambria hasn’t done any in a couple of weeks. She just needs to pack clothes and some other stuff. Ambria said she didn’t remember how we pack clothes. Emily told that she puts the clothes in a garbage bag. Ambria thinks we got wardrobe boxes in the past. Emily said she didn’t use those, but she’s seen them. She said it would probably be “an easier way.” Some clothes fell out of her bag.

Ambria told her they had a unit test in history on Monday. Emily asked how it went. Ambria felt better about it than the previous one. She hopes it won’t backfire. Emily said she always felt neutral and usually did “OK.” She said she use to guess at a lot of the questions.

Tomorrow Ambria has a math quiz. Emily asked what it’s over. Ambria told her it’s logarithms and graphing them. Ambria doesn’t know quite how to do that. Emily asked if she has a study guide. Their class notes are all posted on their class page. Emily said, “That works out, doesn’t it?”

Ambria said she has started getting cards in the mail. Emily said she used to love that when she was a kid. Emily asked if she gets mail from her dentist. Ambria said she does.

Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s “doing OK.” Emily said she wants pants for her birthday. Emily thinks she would want lounge pants. Emily said she sent her a Texas magnet with an armadillo on it. Emily sees armadillos around the apartment. She hasn’t seen them dead on the road. Ambria doesn’t think she’s seen one. Emily said they’re ugly. Emily said they have spikey “hair,” high-heeled shoes, and bad vision. She scares them trying to get a better look at them.

Ambria told her she’s going to try to pack some tonight.

Emily asked if she’s skateboarding with Jacob and Diego. No, she hasn’t taken her skateboard out recently. Emily guessed she’ll be busy packing this week. Ambria said she would.

Emily asked if the Benadryl makes her sleepy. Ambria always takes it right before bed, so she’s not sure. Emily hopes she will feel better soon and doesn’t stir the allergens back up.

Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she would talk to her Saturday and hopes she has a good week. Emily said not to clean too much.
