Emily said she’s sitting in the back yard. She said she’s about to fall out of her chair. She said she almost dropped the phone. She had to turn the camera on.

She asked what Ambria is doing today. Ambria said she has some homework, cleaning to do, and packing. Emily asked what she’s packing for. Ambria told her our move. Emily asked if she’s moving. Ambria asked if she didn’t tell her we got that house. Emily said no. Ambria told her we bought a town house. Emily said she heard about the offer. Ambria told her we own it now. Emiliy asked when she’s moving. She thinks at the end of the month. Ambria told her we have this place until the middle of November. Emily asked if it’s still in the West Seattle area and zoned for the same school. Ambria told her it’s about a mile south. Emily said that’s close then. Ambria told her it’s a block from the junction. Emily asked if we’ll have to pay movers or if we can do it. Ambria told her we’d pay movers because we can’t move it ourselves. Emily said we’d have stairs. Ambria said it has three floors. Emily asked which she’s on. The 2nd.

Dogs started barking. Emily said she didn’t let Panda out because she fights with them.

Emily said it’s good we can pace ourselves with the move and that she would get to design her room again. She also said it would be good to have a more stable situation since we own it.

Emily asked how school was. Ambria said it was good. They didn’t do anything different. She told Emily they’re off Friday. Emily said that’s good. Ambria told her they have the PSATs next Wednesday. Emiliy asked if it’s required. Ambria thinks it is.

Emily asked if she has ideas for her birthday. Ambria said she’s been working on an Amazon wish list.

Emily dropped her keys. She said the chairs can lean back. She got them for free. A bird called. Ambria laughed. Ambria told her there were seagulls on the field when she walked to school today. Emily said they’re really mean. She said they kill marine life and snatch the eyes out of baby seals. She said they get people’s pets some places. The bird started calling again, and Emily said it might grab her. Emily said seagulls eat rabbits and other birds whole. Emily said she hopes they don’t eat Ambria.

Ambria told her they just finished a project in art that they started yesterday. They had a small square of paper they needed to use to make something for another person. They wrote a message to that person and put it up outside. Emily asked if it wasn’t to someone in particular. Yes, it was. They assign them randomly. Emily asked if Ambria knows the person. No. Ambria said their name is Ocean.

Emily asked if she went to the skate park for Jacob’s birthday. They didn’t do that. They just went to the park. Emily asked if it was at the Junction. They did go to the Junction, but the park isn’t there. Emily asked if the new house is even closer to the Junction. Yes. Emily said that’s exciting.

Emily said Reda painted a pumpkin for the fall. Emily said she just painted it. They could have carved it but she decided to pain it instead.

Emily asked what the weather is like. Ambria said it rained yesterday and some early. She said it’s sunny and in the 50s. Emily said it’s in the high 70s low 80s. Emily said it feels “very nice” in the shade.

Emily asked if she’s listened to the new Halsey album. Not yet. Emily said it’s not what she expected. She said it’s the album she has wanted to make. She read it’s supposed to be a pop punk album but it’s not. She said it’s produced by Trent Reznor. Emily said she doesn’t have a favorite song. Ambria said she will listen and see what she thinks.

Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she will talk on Saturday. Emily asked how her math is doing. It’s good. Ambria told her they have a quiz tomorrow.
