Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria said she was doing nothing. Emily mumbled a bunch of stuff.
She asked what drawing Ambria has done. She started another perspective of that same room. Emily asked if it’s hard for her to “think how something will look before she draws it.” Ambria just makes it up as she goes. Emily said she couldn’t do it.
Ambria told her she went to check on her wisdom teeth on Monday. Emily asked what that dentist said. Ambria told her that dentist said she’s not ready and they could grow back if she takes them too early. She’s going to talk to the oral surgeon tomorrow. Emily asked why she’s getting them out if they’re not coming in and not bothering her. Ambria told her they will move her teeth around. Emily asked about the x-rays. Ambria told her she had to bite the thing for the first one, but this one was the kind that spins around your head.
Ambria told her she went to a Goodwill near the dentist. Emily said there’s a big one 2-3 minutes away. Emily said there’s a larger one that drops the price every day. She didn’t see anything she likes. She said they’re not organized very well. Ambria told her there are a lot of Goodwills here, and she has been to three. She told Emily about them. Emily asked if she’s been to the giant one. Ambria went to that one yesterday. Ambria described the size to her and how it’s organized. Emily said their organization is helpful. Ambria told her there were some racks at the front that aren’t organized. Emily said the larges will fit like a medium if they’ve been washed a lot. She said the dressing rooms are closed where she is. Ambria said they were open yesterday. Ambria said the most expensive thing she got was $8. Emily asked if she got clothes for school. Ambria said she sorta did. Ambria said she got 5 things. Emily tried to guess what they are and gave some silly guesses. Ambria told her she got 4 shirts and a jacket. Ambria flipped the camera to show her. Emily liked the jean jackets. Emily asked if they were crop tops. Ambria said some of them are. Emily said that was good for Ambria but not for her.
Emily asked how many jean jackets she has now. Ambria got this one to replace the other one. Ambria told her she ordered some clothes on ebay and Threadup. Emily said “you can never have too many clothes.”
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said they discharged her from physical therapy. She thinks they will put her back on it in a few months. She can raise her left arm about half way. Ambria asked where she could send Reda a letter. Emily said to send it to Brenda and asked if Ambria had it. She does.
Ambria told her about the letters she got from her French pen pals. Ambria told her one of them wants to go to a school here and her name is Sarah. She also told her about Mat. She said they’ve been correcting each other’s letters. Emily said that was a good learning opportunity. Ambria said she also got a reply from her pen pal from French class. Emily asked how she got her pen pals. Ambria told her she got them from a web site designed to connect people for language learning. Emily said she bet Nana had connected Ambria with that. Ambria said she found it herself.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Emily said she will talk to Ambria on Saturday and asked if Ambria will see any of her friends between now and then. Ambria doesn’t think so.
