Emily told Ambria she has only ridden her bike in the alleyway. She got a bag for the dog for the bike but it isn’t going to work. It’s too hard to walk her because she slows down and drops behind. Then she stops and Emily has to carry her. Ambria said that’s funny.

Emily asked what she’s been doing the past couple of days. Working on her art class. She’s learned a lot about shadows. It’s easier than Ambria thought it would be. Emily said that’s good.

Ambria had job training class on Thursday. It was about problem solving. She put them into groups and gave them crazy problems they had to solve. They had to work together to come up with the best solution. Emily said that didn’t “sound too bad.” Emily asked if the kids were around her age. Ambria said they’re mostly going into 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. Emily asked if they’re from across the county. Yes.

Ambria said it was kinda cold for a while – not even in the 70s – but now the high is in the low 70s. Emily said, “That’s OK, isn’t it?” Yes. Ambria said it doesn’t get that warm until the afternoon. Emily asked if that isn’t what she prefers. No, Ambria likes 80s temperatures. Emily said it’s in the 90s there. “It makes walking so hard.” She said it’s easier in the evenings. She joked about how the dog makes walking harder for her. Ambria laughed. Emily really wants to get the “bike thing” to work.

Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said to have fun food shopping and asked if her Trader Joe’s is always crowded. Not always. Emily said her cashiers are always nice. Emilly asked if she has the person who stands outside and waves. Ambria thinks so. Emily said she hopes she has a good Saturday and asked if she’s getting boba. Ambria doesn’t think so.
