Emily answered with noise in the background. Ambria waited about 30 seconds before saying hello. Emily had said nothing. Emily responded, but she was breaking up really badly. Ambria couldn’t understand her. After about 30 more seconds, Emily was audible. Emily asked if Ambria could see her. Ambria could not. Emily asked again. Still no. Emily said, “Oh.” She started breaking up again.
She asked what Ambria has been doing this week. Ambria told her her grandparents left this morning. Ambria told her we didn’t do any special events but walked around places. Emily asked a question but broke up. Ambria was able to see her but the framerate was awful and her audio was breaking up.
Emily asked if she walked around downtown. Ambria said yes and told her all the things she’d showed them. Emily tried asking something but she was inaudible. Emily offered to turn her camera off and started talking again. She was still breaking up.
Emily asked if she (unintelligible) anything special. Ambria told her we tried a new bubble tea place and started to say it had just opened. Emily cut in but was still breaking up. Ambria told her a friend from school works there. Emily asked if they took the order. Yes.
Ambria asked if she wanted her to try turning off her camera because she was still breaking up too much to carry on a conversation. Emily said, breaking up, that she hopes that helps. Ambria said she doesn’t know that it is. Emily continued to talk without being audible. She asked (unintelligible). Ambria said yes.
Emily said she got Sunrise Blend and said not to get it because it tastes like plastic. She said it had clumps of coconut. Hugh had a heart attack and they put a couple of stints in his heart. Emily said everything is fine but he was having a pain. Emily said it was “more of a preventative measure.”
Emily said Reda is “doing good.” She’s taking physical therapy and walking without a walker. She walks holding onto the rail. That works until she doesn’t have the railing. Ambria said that sounds good. Emily said she will tell the story about her pets when their connection is better. Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will.
Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at 3:22 PM.
