They wished each other good morning. Emily said she is outside enjoying the nice weather. She said it’s 75. Ambria said that’s the high here today. Emily said it’s a lot cooler. Ambria said yes.
Emily asked if she’s found a bathing suit. No. Emily asked if she was going to swim at the hotel. Ambria said she would have and took a bathing suit just in case. Emily asked if she had one to take. Yes, but just one.
Emily asked what else she’s been doing. Ambria told her she finished her perspective course in her art thing. Emily asked if she’s done. Ambria said she is with the second part. Emily asked how many parts there are. There are a lot. Ambria did a final project and will show Emily sometime.
The vet called Emily. The cat has low platelets. It’s not “necessarily concerning.” Emily researched and found that she might be anemic. The vet said she might need to see an animal neurologist. Emily said there is a building around there called “Animal Eye Specialist.”
Reda told Emily to tell her she hasn’t sent a letter because she can’t write. Reda said she loves Ambria. Ambria told Emily to tell her she loves her too.
Emily asked if she saw Diego on Thursday. No, but she will see him today. Emily asked what they’re going to do. Ambria said they will walk at the Junction and come back to play Mario Kart. Emily asked how far the junction is. Ambria thinks it’s about a mile. Emily said that meant they can walk to it. Ambria agreed. Emily said based on Ambria saying he was a friend in 9th grade, she didn’t get to see him last year. Emily asked how they met. They met through mutual friends.
Ambria searched for something to say.
Emily said she was going to show Ambria a cicada husk but couldn’t find one. Emily said they make noise at night. Emily asked if it’s noisy and Ambria can hear her. Ambria said she can. Emily said she never knows whether Ambria can hear well.
Ambria told her they had free pizza at a pizza place. Emily asked if she got some. Ambria got 2 slices. Emily said that’s fun and suggested she and Diego can get some bubble tea sometime. Ambria said she considered that. Emily said she should pick out what she wants before she goes. Emily does that and still has trouble deciding when she gets there.
Ambria told her Nana and Poppy are coming on Wednesday. Emily asked if we’re doing anything for the 4th. Ambria said we might watch fireworks from the roof if there are any. Emily said there might be some around her, but she won’t be able to see them from her apartment. Ambria told her we could see them if they’re at the space needle, but she’s not sure if they will do that to discourage gatherings. Emily said that makes sense. Ambria said there are also people around here who shoot them off.
Emily said she hopes Ambria has a good time with Diego and asked what Ambria will wear. Probably shorts. Emily said she would do that. Then she corrected that she wouldn’t, but if she were Ambria, she would.
Emily asked if she’s played new video games. Ambria told her she did but couldn’t remember the name. Emily said she’s going to start Stardew Valley on her phone and asked if Ambria would help her. Ambria said she will.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily repeated that Reda said she loves Ambria. Emily asked what day it was and said she would talk on Wednesday. She asked if we have anything planned. Ambria doesn’t think so. They ended the call July 3, 2021 9:09 AM.
