They wished each other good morning. Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria got up and got ready. Emily asked how school was. Good. Ambria told her the last day is the 18th. Emily asked if she was excited. Ambria said she is. Emily said ___ about “setting around and doing schoolwork.”
Emily asked if she’s had any more boba. Yes, she had a mango a few days ago. Emily asked if it was still good. Yes, but not as good as the first one she had. Emily said she can’t win.
Emily said it’s supposed to rain for the next week. She said she’ll see if it actually happens.
Ambria told her we went downtown to the Japanese bookstore yesterday. She told her we got dinner at the Hong Kong Kitchen. Ambria told her she got the French toast with peanut butter. Ambria described it to her and said it was good. Emily said that was good and she was glad. Emily asked what else she thought about. That was the only thing Ambria picked out. Ambria told her about the Korean dessert place and described what we got. Ambria said it was good. Emily said it sounded like bingsoo. Ambria said that was it. Emily said she got red bean bingsoo, and they also had watermelon. Ambria said the lava cake one was really good.
Ambria showed her the Hello Kitty she got at the book store and told her she put the chains on it so she can wear it like a backpack. Emily said it doesn’t unzip. Ambria said that’s right.
Emily asked if she’s wearing overalls. Yes. Emily told her they are shorts. Emily said she’s only wearing one. Yes. Emily asked if they’re shorts. Yes. Emily said they’re coming back in style and that she used to wear them. Emily asked if they’re long or short shorts. Ambria said they’re short. They’re cut. Emily asked if she wears her Vans with them.
Emily asked if she’s looked at any new ones. No, but Ambria likes the all-black high-tops with the black laces.
Emily showed the new cat and said she is “so large.” Emily said she has four colors on her back. She described them and where they are.
Ambria asked about Reda. “She’s doing OK.” Emily said she hasn’t heard anything in a while, so she assumes everything is “going OK.” “She does a lot of napping up there. I think maybe her brain just gets tired easily. I don’t think she watches TV because I don’t think she knows how to turn it on, and I don’t think she knows how to go through the channels.” Emily thinks she would like it but she doesn’t know how. Ambria said to tell her hi and she loves her. Emily said she will.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she will talk on Wednesday. They ended the call at June 5, 2021 9:09 AM.
